Senior Manager - Strategy and Planning @ Steria

Asteria is looking for a candidate with strong experience in strategic planning activities to work directly with the founders for creating a business impact. As part of this role, you will collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to evaluate various business opportunities, prepare product, partnership, go-to market and operational strategies, and provide financial forecasting and analysis.

You will be expected to understand the emerging market, technology, industry, and policy trends in the drone sector, and generate qualitative and quantitative data for critical business decision making.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic goals for the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional business development and product managers to produce business and product plans that are sustainable and evaluate these plans on a periodic basis.

• Prepare business case analysis for new business pursuits, provide strategy and recommendations for pursuing the same.

• Perform SWOT analysis for organization, product, competitors, partnerships and provide recommendations for mitigating risks and maximizing opportunities.

• Develop partnership strategy to expand/improve product and market offerings; develop, evaluate, and assess partnership opportunities; structure, align and integrate partnerships.

• Analyze and review business models/ pricing, sales and methods of distribution, competitor offerings and apply this information in development of GTM strategies for individual market segments.

• Remain fully informed on business climate, market trends, technology trends, policy, competition in areas of the company s current and anticipated product lines.

• Provide reporting for the management and board on all strategy and planning activities.

Qualification: MBA or equivalent master s program

Relevant Experience: 8+ years in strategy and planning at leading research consulting companies/product companies

Desired Skills Characteristics:

• Proven experience in developing frameworks for business case analysis, market analysis, competitor analysis, organization analysis, risk analysis.

• Extremely comfortable with financial forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.

• History of successfully evaluating and developing performance/RoI based strategic partnerships

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with reasoning through first principles.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Proactive about solving problems, self-motivated to take on initiatives and responsibilities and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
