Job Description :

Reporting to - Functional Manager, Software, IDC

Areas of Responsibilities :

- Responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating software test activities throughout the project.

- Be a member of global team testing software development activities in the embedded software area for the client Drives

- Contribute ideas in a collaborative, supportive team environment.

- Help to estimate and prioritize tasks and track progress in any development methodology.

- Responsible for creating Test Plan, Test Design, Test Cases and execute & analyze them.

Key tasks :

- Overall Test design, development and execution (Manual & Automation)

- Estimation of test efforts

- Reviews of various test deliverables

- Reviews of requirements and other relevant documents

- Setup and maintain test infrastructure

- Publish & maintain test reports and dashboard

- Ensure adherence to QA processes & various tools

- Sign-off and approval of test deliverables

Success Criteria's :

- Completion as per planned cost, schedule and quality

- Sharing of best practices

- Continuous improvement

Important aspects, with impact on the job :

- Experience in various development models

- Agile certified practitioner

- ISTQB Foundation/Advanced/Expert certification

Education:

UG:   B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization

PG:  M.Tech - Any Specialization

Doctorate:  Doctorate Not Required
