Required Qualifications:
The role incumbent will be part of the team responsible for end-to-end delivery of ITFM Projects. This would require the incumbent to configure solutions to meet the business requirements, IT cost optimization, IT cost alignment, IT cost allocation, process enhancement and scoping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate project-based financial analysis and modeling to support reporting of the operation and capital spend. Including assisting in business case preparation and submission for financial investment
- Going through large data, disparate data sets to understand business requirements such as how costs are spread across different IT towers (IT Cost Management) hardware, software, labor, non-labor etc.
- Problem solving and end to end process mapping
- Managing the financial portion of IT contracts including large and complex contracts such as outsourcing and communications contracts
- Support the Annual Planning and Quarterly Forecasting process for the Delivery Management organization
- Create insightful and actionable analyses to explain and act upon significant business initiatives for leadership / higher management / C-suite employees
- Create automated/repeatable or ad-hoc reports and models for the purpose of allowing management to make data driven decisions using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Excel etc.
- Work with Delivery Management Senior Leadership team to prepare FTE requests
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of Financial modeling and project financing
- Fair knowledge on capitalization and general accounting practices
- Understanding of Project Management fundamentals
- Should be good in MS tools MS Excel, MS Excel VBA, MS PowerPoint
- Experience with Apptio will be a plus
- Well organized and result oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
Professional Attributes:
- Strong communication skills regarding technical topics and remote collaboration skills are critical to this role
- Demonstrates an ability to deliver on project commitments
- Produces work that consistently meets quality standards
Qualifications
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Three (3) + years of experience in the field of financial planning/analysis
