Inviting applications for the role of Consultant- Kronos
In this role, you will be responsible for Application Support Operations and maintenance of multiple applications & databases, used by business units and infrastructure teams. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into needs.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the complete lifecycle of a project which includes but not limited to Business Analysis, Functional Specification, System Configuration, Design and Testing
- Work closely with team members and business contacts to gather and document detailed requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve and transform internal business processes and day to day activities
- Collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders to support project delivery
- Perform maintenance and configuration activities for Kronos modules such as accruals, advanced scheduler, timekeeper, and attendance
- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: WFM, WFD, Activities, Devices, Integrations etc
- Partner with customers on support activities by responding to and resolving customer requests
- Experience developing Inbound and Outbound integrations using tools like Workforce Integration Manager and creating reports using tools like SSRS, Crystal reports etc
- Support deployment activities including involvement in Designing, implementation and hyper care related activities
- Experience in transferring configuration data into different environments using tools like Setup Data Manager
- Perform configuration, re-configurations, upgrades, enhancements, implementation, maintenance and user acceptance testing activities for Workforce Applications
- Act as technical liaison and subject matter expert with internal client organizations
- Support testing activities through the test environment including maintaining a DEV, QA environment
- Work on documentations by Creating and updating detailed functional and technical design documents, plans testing strategies and test cases, user training documents as necessary
- Conduct production support, Application upgrades, and regular audits, to ensure compliance on the use of the Kronos application
- Maintain security related configuration, new labor level entries, employee groups and labor level sets
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E/ MCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- 4+ years experience as a functional consultant with any other Time & Attendance management
- Kronos Interface Designer Tool
- Device management (WDM)
- Good Knowledge in Microsoft SQL, Oracle Database systems, PL/SQL
- Kronos Setup Data Manager
- Extensive experience on Kronos Workforce Central Suite and System Architecture including: Kronos Time & Attendance, Accruals, Activities, Basic Advanced Scheduling, Analytics
- Strong analytical/problem-solving ability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and interact across all levels
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work pressure
- Experience in Workforce Dimensions is preferred
- Experience in Dell Boomi is preferred
- Experience in integration of Workforce Dimensions using Dell BoomiPMP certified professionals preferred
