Job Description:Good knowledge on Circuit theory basics
Power semiconductor devices and device characteristics especially Mosfets, IGBTs, SiC, GAN
Design and understanding of Magnetics in low and high frequencies
Gate driver design, effects of gate charging, input/ output capacitances
PCB layout implications on EMI, High frequency power converters
Enclosure design and Shielding understanding on EMI implication
Understanding on the safety certification standards, like IEC62368-1, UL8750 and so on
Understating on the CISPR 22 and FCC PART 15 standards and EMC measurements
Knowledge on Conducted and Radiated emission, Surge, EFT, ESD and so on
Understanding on the CE, UL and CCC standard requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Execute the validation testing on the commercial and industrial products as per the test plan.
Develop the validation test Plan, test cases work instruction and test report.
Analyze validation test data to determine whether product have met validation criteria or to identify root cause.
Experience on working with external certification agencies for UL and CE certification requirements.
Communicate to the internal and external cross function team to effectively execution of the test.
Prepare the validation documents as per the company quality management system for validation lab.
Execute the validation test in the external labs.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree ME (B.E, B.tech) or equivalent.
At least 5 15 years related engineering experience with specific experience in Testing and certification.
Experience in getting UL and CE certification on Power supply product, LED driver product or some similar power electronics product is preferred.
Preferred knowledge of IEC standards and documentation.
Fluent written and spoken English
