Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, Product Development
We are inviting applications for leading, a top-notch engineering-driven software solution for financial institutions looking to streamline their current commercial lending and leasing processes. We work closely with our clients to re-engineer outdated, inefficient business processes with Enterprise Credit Underwriting and Management Platform, to allow straight-through processing. Our clients benefit from configurable screens, workflows, rules that reflect their business processes and built-in compliance features such as Reg B and Know Your Customer.
We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, process professional who excels in both teams and independent working environments. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and can adapt to change quickly. The ability to articulate a solution and influence others is key to success.
Responsibilities
Implement and enhance functionality debug existing issues with the product. The candidate must be able to understand the requirements, propose design and implement the functionality. Must be able to work with new and existing codebase for data models, workflows and rules. Familiarity with a variety of leasing and lending concepts, practices, and procedures is highly desirable. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks:
o Ability to effectively communicate with Business Analysts to analyze requirements.
o Ability to synthesize and model business requirements with existing and new application functionality for changing business requirements.
o Develop Enhancements to existing models, rules and workflows and incorporate new modules.
o Ability to facilitate meetings with other members of the engineering teams
o Develop and support Sales Team with product Demos when needed
o Support the infrastructure team in enhancing the core infrastructure
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications/skills
B.Tech / MCA or equivalent
Good Java design and development skills.
Experience of any middleware (ServiceMix, Apache Fuse, Apache Camel etc.)
Good in Microservices, WebServices, XSLT, XML , XSD
Postgres/SQL
Working knowledge of Hibernate (or JPA2) ORM.
Apache tomcat 8+
Jboss AS 7 (or similar J2EE App server)
Eclipse IDE
Maven builds
Experience in Software Development
Preferred qualifications /skills
HTML /JavaScript
Experience of Spring Framework
Experience with any MVC framework (JSF preferred)
Good understanding of Cloud technologies and AWS
Experience with RESTful service architecture.
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Experience in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies
