Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Lead Consultant Senior Database Developer
In this role, you will be responsible for Application Support Operations and maintenance of multiple applications & databases, used by business units and infrastructure teams. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, design the solution, which really fits into customer needs.
Responsibilities- Encouraged to be passionate about agile methodology of development. Participate in some or all activities in SDLC
- Partners client to explain the areas of improvement and remediate recommendations
- Tackle and resolve production problems with new ideas
- Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution/approach etc
- Build, release, and configuration management. Collaborate with Dev/QA/Release teams to achieve the CI/CD process
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains
- Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
- Establish a dialogue with the customer to achieve trusted technical adviser status
- Find opportunities and communicate them to PM and/or Technical Lead
- Identify potential issues preventing the successful delivery of services or solutions and inform the Project Coordinator appropriately
- Establish POCs to validate the client solutions
- BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
- Hands on experience in database technologies like
- Must Have - MS SQL Server
- Good to have - PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Oracle, MySQL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Designing database tables and structures.
- Hands on experience on Data Warehouse
- Creating tables, indexes, views, functions, stored procedures, user defined types
- Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Fine tuning or Performance Optimization skills needed on long running procedures
- Experience with managing databases in source control and multi-developer environment
- Hands on experience on Microsoft Azure
- Should be strong on Cloud Computing concepts
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Data Lake Store (ADLS)
- MSBI SSIS(ETL), SSRS(Reporting) Good to have
- Good understanding of SDLC lifecycle. Superb social skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools. Incident Management. Real-time multi-threaded application development
