Job Description

• 5+ years of overall hands-on experience in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise database systems
• Good database experience in Postgresql and PG/SQL
• Experience in heterogenous database migration (Sybase to Postgresql, Oracle to Postgresql)
• Strong proven experience in writing complex stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers. Experience in handling large volume of data, along with good knowledge of cursors and advanced bulk collection concepts
• Strong experience in writing SQL queries, with hands on exp of performance tuning, ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of the DB
• Participates in or leads a database migration team supporting one or more application projects which must be migrated from on-premise to AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environment.
