Zepto is a fast-growing startup that delivers groceries in 10 minutes through an optimised network of dark stores that we're building across the country! We're scaling up throughout Mumbai quickly and, in the next six months, we'll be launching in Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-starter product designer to join our product team in Bangalore who understands the user/customer like nobody else and translates them into actionable design, passionate about conceptualizing, planning, and creating large-scale systems with customer-centric product thinking. We also work extensively with folks from different teams - Business Strategy, Marketing, Tech, Design and Operations and an ideal candidate would be empathetic, detail oriented and can quickly transition from detail orientedness to looking at the big picture. Primary Responsibilities

• Build new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artifacts and validate them with the users.
• Conduct quick rounds of usability testing.
• Present your designs & communicate key decisions to stakeholders for review & incorporate feedback.
• Collaborate with the research, product, business & engineering team to build scalable & impactful solutions.
• Advocate for the user while understanding business requirements.
• Effectively use quantitative & qualitative data to drive decisions & measure success.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in support, marketing, business and operations to develop launch strategy, product messaging and training

What Are We Looking For

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  
• 2+ years of design experience in a product company. Experience with consumer facing startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage.
• A strong portfolio of innovative design work that demonstrates strong interaction and visual design skills with an eye for details and a drive to learn from a fast paced environment.
• Experience consolidating stakeholder and Research feedback and/or insights into your work
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate design and articulate decisions clearly and concisely to various audiences.
• You're entrepreneurial and are comfortable working in a complex and face-paced environment
• You're passionate about your customers and always bring questions back to what will serve them best
• Ability and willingness to quickly produce concepts and test ideas.
• Able to to identify/analyze problem areas, to work on the complex issues.
• Possess a good knowledge in design fundamentals such as design thinking framework and other frameworks in order to develop products.
• Have a good knowledge of tools such as Overflow, Miro, Figma, Sketch and other wireframing tools that are widely used by Product Designers.
