Python Developer / DevOps Specialist ( Work) @ Skyleaf Consultants

Job Description

• Bachelors degree in CS,engineering,software engineering,or related field
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in development and operations,or related IT,computer,or operations field
• Previous experience with software development,infrastructure development,or development and operations
• Monitoring infrastructure and Alerts tracking software configuration experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work directly with the DevOps team and Senior DevOps manager to test system integrity
• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
• Experience in building and deploying Build Chains with CI/CD Pipelines for Dev, Pre-Prod, and Production environments.
• Provision the deployment infrastructure and create various config for automated deployment, including knowledge of pushing the Mobile Apps to respective Playstores.
• Monitoring infrastructure and Alerts tracking software configuration experience.
• Experience with Jenkins and Build systems on Linux and Windows
• Handle code deployments in all environments Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations
• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
• Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
• Document and design various processes; update existing processes
• Improve infrastructure development and application development

Desired Candidate Profile

High school degree or equivalent; bachelors degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field

Minimum 2 years previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field

Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations

Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies

Up to date on the latest industry trends, able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently

Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
