We are Hiring for Senior/Lead Backend Developer
We are looking to hire a senior back-end developer who has experience building scalable & logically sane systems and is willing to roll up their sleeves on execution to help build the next-generation enterprise SaaS company. We are looking for a strategic candidate seeking the challenge of scaling the tech stack, following TDD, and guiding everyone (including nitpicking everyone's PR) to ensure the best quality code goes to production.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in designing or architecting backend systems, following TDD, and writing proper documentation. This person will be responsible for creating scalable APIs, data ingestion processes, and designing databases while managing the maintenance of each.
Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for creating scalable APIs, data ingestion processes, and designing databases while managing the maintenance of each. He/she will work closely with relevant stakeholders in the team to understand the product requirements and deliver them with high quality. He/She should be able to:
- Code solutions across a wide technology stack (primarily NodeJS/PostgreSQL, AWS)
- Document development phases and monitoring systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies
- Mentor others within your team and the organization
- Develop tools and deliver applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Education/Experience
Position Type:Full Time
Location:Fully Remote. You can continue work from home as long you want but we do need a photo of your amazing home office setup ;)
Minimum experience: 3 years
Requirements
- 2-3 years managing cloud infrastructure on GCP, AWS, or Azure
- 4+ years of general developing experience
- 2+ years of JavaScript developing experience
- Experience with setting up of Devops pipeline and maintaining them would be a big plus
- Amazing architectural skills and making proper choices based on timeline and available resources
- Proficient in general database architecture
- Great Communication and Collaboration skills
- Self-starter / self-motivated
- Familiarity with NodeJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS Tech Stack (or similar)
Bonus but not required:
- Experience in enterprise technologies or familiarity with enterprise software (like SAP)
- Experience in a startup environment
