Job Description

Installation technicians, also known as installation techs, install, maintain, and upgrade electronics equipment and computer hardware. Satellite and cable companies, electronics stores, and other types of businesses hire installation technicians to work full-time shifts, primarily during daytime business hours. Installation technicians travel to customer homes and places of business to install and repair electronics of all types, working with little supervision. Installation technicians primarily report to a technician manager or department supervisor.
