This is a key role in statutory financial reporting in compliance with the regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Ensure related SAP accounting with regular interaction and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders and perform detailed financial analyses to publish meaningful financials insights. Establish reporting procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring financial reporting as per statutory requirements with compliance to applicable accounting standards, listing regulations and other statutory acts for the India legal entities
Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for all legal entities with corresponding schedules, notes to accounts and cashflow on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Ensure and maintain reports, filings, accounting records and documentation in compliance with companys regulations, approved policies and GAAP reporting guidelines. Minimal audit corrective journals
Smooth running of statutory audit in line with approved audit plans. Ensure timely delivery of audit closure with proper coordination with statutory auditors through a proactively managed audit plan for the quarterly and annual audits. Ensure that appropriate finance systems are maintained and that all procedures/controls are implemented
Partner with key functions and departments across the company (e.g. BPA, R2R accounting, Legal, HR, Supply chain, others) and timely coordination with external stakeholders. Ensure proper reconciliation of statutory reported numbers with group reporting. Support accounting for group reporting and highlight any implications for statutory reporting
Coordinate with various teams and perform complex analysis and prepare reports to summarize financial data. Monthly reviews of P&L and B/S trend analysis covering detailed variance analysis and prepare reports to summarise financial data
Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, lead the implementation and research of new accounting pronouncements and provide technical accounting support to the organization. Stay abreast on all amendments and evaluate implications for the company
Liaising with the Tax Auditors and Transfer Pricing Auditors. Providing Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service Tax and Transfer Pricing assessment details to the Direct and Indirect Tax team. Improve the systems, policies, and procedures necessary to drive efficiency and provide meaningful data.

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 6 to 8 years of experience in handling Financial reporting, Audit management, preparing management reports
Technical accounting expertise with thorough knowledge of IFRS and Indian accounting standards. Experience in performing technical accounting research and hands on experience in implementing Accounting standards requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills that help facilitate interactions with cross functional teams including Local and Regional
Proven ability to successfully manage projects and timelines, organize/track complex information, prioritize accordingly, and the ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities and demanding timelines when necessary
Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ensure appropriate Internal Controls in operation. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Adequate planning and manage adherence to timelines
Advanced excel spreadsheet knowledge. Knowledge of SAP a plus. Excellent in Team management and liaising with auditors and other stakeholders. Developing and implementing a process to ensure the accuracy of legal entity data by coordinating an overall review process, working with the Responsible Business and other control functions
