Team. The Financial Controls & Compliance Senior
Specialist will be responsible for supporting the
Financial Controls & Compliance Manager in ensuring
compliance.
The T&E Associate supports the Novartis NGSC Hyderabad T&E Operations Team and will be reporting to Manager T&E, enabling the execution of quality services. The T&E Operations Team is responsible for the overall operational activities within T&E by executing accounting related matters, processing of expense reports, handling Credit Card and Compliance related matters.
The T&E Associate will deliver excellent technical and non-technical support for T&E related processes and system solutions. The position requires a customer centric, diligent, hard-working individual with experience in working in a Call Center or Customer Service environment and knowledge of T&E processes and solutions to drive outstanding customer service and operational efficiency. The role entails the provision of services within the scope of T&E daily operations delivery, month end activities and customer support, acting as a second level support to T&E queries.
The T&E Associate will cooperate on designing the operational process for Corporate Credit Card Management in cooperation with Hub T&E Manager for US and will proactively collaborate with regional NGSC/FRA teams such as Procurement, Treasury, IT, T&E and will ensure credible cooperation with divisional stakeholders including local business/FSC. Also, play a key role in escalation management.
The T&E Associate will be responsible for implementing standardized CCC Process for assigned regions/NGSC Center and will ensure that the scope of the project is communicated correctly with all regional stakeholders and that progress is being reported regularly and in line with approved schedule.
Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide timely assistance and customer-oriented support for incoming queries and issues related to T&E processes and systems through the role as operational SME and 2nd level support. Support a strong control environment, follows-up on audit issues and supports to implement correcting measures
Ensures that delivery of projects targets are achieved timely and in high quality. Support transition and is responsible for knowledge transfer and knowledge retention within T&E scope. Being regional representative of the Hub T&E Operations team, facilitating clear and concise communications and helps to establish and maintain strong relations with the site leadership team.
Participate and assist in driving the knowledge management process including the development of user manuals, knowledge bases, FAQs, etc. Support the measurement and delivery of service levels and T&E KPIs. Coordinating end user training to deliver operational performance excellence and continuous improvement projects
Partner across FRA Operations (Global, Regional and NGSCs/ FSCs) promoting the CCC objectives across the Service Centers: increased spend, high compliance
Supports change management activities surrounding the deployment or enhancement of the processes in the region including coaching and mentoring site team members to enable personal and professional development
Act as SME for Novartis Expense Manuals for internal and external stakeholders. Support the Service Delivery Manager T&E Operations in the documentation of processes, policies and procedures, which comply with Novartis and Finance Core standards. Ensure compliance with Finance Core, Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and regulatory requirements
Collaborates with internal SMEs in country and internal domains across Procurement, T&E, TCM, IT, etc. Collaborates with FRA OPS Compliance & Controls and Corporate Financial Controls teams to ensure process compliance, and to ensure controls are improving by measuring the right controls while simplifying and automating whenever possible
Support relevant regional boards, SMEs and FRA Ops groups to build strong T&E community across domains. Collaborates with T&E Analytics teams to support/create accurate reporting on Corporate Cards process.

Minimum requirements

What youll bring to the role:
Bachelors degree (Preferably in Finance /Accounting or Business Administration)
Financial background with at least 3 years experience in finance, auditing and or business process reengineering
Prior proven experience in the Corporate Credit Card processes and T&E, both operationally, as well project-based
Strong project and change management skills. International exposure and Any 2nd language will be of advantage
Outsourcing and or shared services background preferred
Operating knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems, as well working experience with corporate bank teams
