Job Description
Thales Reliance Defence Systems is seeking a Tech Lead or Senior Tech Lead role to be part of Operations team of THALESs Navaids products family in India.
Requirement:
- Qualifications: M.Tech in electronic (RF)
- At least 10 years of exposure in the Industry field;
- Experience in RADARs, Navigation Aids Systems, Avionics or Defense systems design;
- Knowledge in DFT and DFM and aspect of testability of electronic devices;
- Good knowledge of production processes, tools, planning, PLM tools
- Ready to travel in India and overseas.
Role Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for ensure technology maturity (in contact with the Design Authority) and industrial targets (in charge of the Manufacturing and Controls files) to meet the customer delivery requirements. You will deal with all technical aspects related to production and Industrialization.
Responsibilities:
- Pilot the industrialization and production transfers;
- Product conformity and industrial performance;
- Main point of contact for reporting Technical Facts/Events to EU teams and project teams;;
- Setting-up of Industrial resources and processes;
- Create the Manufacturing and Control files;
- Manage the production data (files, data packages, material tables);
- Implement the work instructions on the field (first job standards/worksheets);
- Support the team force to optimize the job standards with Kaizen (continuous improvement);
- Develop (with the DA) and maintain the production means (test benches, fixtures, devices);
- Technical support to the production team and to the suppliers;
- Define the maintenance plans and dedicated documents;
- Manage the processes and products upgrades (technical aspect and the configuration);
- Prepare scope of work for subcontracted activities and manage the scope;
- Development of the industrial maturity of the Company.Roles and Responsibilities
