Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

To service client calls received on the BNY Mellon hotline relating any queries related to the various payment platform services and their account specific inquiries.

Candidate would also be required to support Operations tasks i.e. supporting client on boarding activities, BAU reporting and metric submissions, supporting client instruction file submissions and reconciliations etc.


Use the knowledge provided on existing BNY Mellon payment platforms to support client inquiries, act as a single point of contact to support all troubleshooting/ monitoring and issue resolutions for clients. Be on top of the latest system enhancements and roll outs made to clients, to ensure information shared with clients is aligned.

In addition to rendering support on Client calls candidate would be also be supporting BAU Operational tasks, for example: -

  • Daily statistics and reporting
  • KRI tracking
  • Check & Deposit research
  • Application user unlocks/password resets
  • Check MICR testing for clients
  • Corporate DDA postings this is an intricate series of monitoring files, balancing and the job submission and control of many different jobs throughout the day and night that result in the completion of the company postings for all transaction types/accounts
  • Check processing support of the FTM system Involves monitoring system health and performance as well as client transmission support, review of system logs etc.
  • Remote Deposit system testing support
  • International deposit AML and high-risk item reviews
  • File processing reconciliation this covers many different functions and processes
  • Weekly application validation/Health Checks
  • DR support


  • Banking client on boarding requests
  • Debit/ Credit card or online transaction failure client inquiries
  • ACH or file based instruction processing experience
  • Cheque based process familiarity


Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelors degree (preferably full time)
  • Strong communication skills with experience of handling global client calls
  • Planning and time management skills
