Outcomes/Success Criteria
The Manager IT Quality Assurance & Testing is a hands-on position that will play a critical role in building a first-class Quality Assurance team.
Advance the development and modernization of testing and QA strategy inclusive of people, process, and tools that will drive higher quality and efficiency.
Play a lead role in determining best practices, methods and tools; be responsible for the consistent implementation of tools / methods, and results.
Deliver the highest quality product through defect prevention throughout the software development lifecycle in an agile development environment.
Be an active participant in developing project and product plans; advocate and evangelize for testing and QA as integral lifecycle components.
Oversee multiple teams/global projects simultaneously and manage both resources and tasks to ensure timely and effective project completion according to the project plan
Build test automation capabilities to test the Digital Technologies & Analytics platforms.
Ensure that all test effort is effectively planned, monitored and executed and that core activities required by the Testing Framework are completed in a structured, consistent manner.
Provide technical leadership, expertise and direction in all areas of testing for SAP ERP & related SAP systems, Salesforce platforms, Web applications, Mobile & other digital platforms including (but not limited to) Unit, Integration, Functional, End-to-End, Regression, Acceptance, Performance & Security Testing.
Be capable and willing to participate directly in script development, both hands-on and assisting other engineers.
Inform Management Team of testing status and provide final go/no-go recommendations for software releases.
Build a high-performing QA team including hiring, performance evaluation, coaching, and mentoring as well as managing test teams globally.
Qualifications & Experience

A bachelor's degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering or a related field
4+ years in Managing/Supervising QA teams including hiring, performance evaluation, coaching, and mentoring required.
10+ Years progressive experience in Unit, Integration, Functional, End-to-end, Regression, Acceptance, Performance & Security Testing.
Solid experience in setting up the function from scratch specially in SAP
Solid experience in all areas of testing for SAP ERP & related SAP systems, Salesforce platforms, Web applications, Analytics applications, Mobile & other digital platforms
Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) and technology stacks (Java, C#, .NET, ASP.Net MVC, Ruby, PHP, Python, Angular JS, JavaScript, SQL Server etc.)
Deep practical experience with various test automation tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium, Ranorex, TestComplete, JMeter, LoadRunner, Jenkins, ZaProxy etc.)
Strong leadership experience in leading multiple QA resources across globally distributed Agile Teams required
Ability to work in multi-vendor environment
Experience with programming languages and writing automated test scripts
Ability to work with global cross-functional agile teams with attention to details
Lead/mentor less experienced QA engineers & testers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organization and prioritization skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
