Job Description
Assistant Vice President, ERP- Test Lead
The candidate will play a critical role of the Test lead within the ERP transformation program. In this role, you will be working alongside the Technical, Business and the Implementation partner teams to own and drive the Testing phase right from strategy through to the execution phases.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be leading a hybrid team comprising of testers from the technology and business teams
In this role, you are expected to bring in the best of testing methodologies, principles, practices, and processes. You are also expected define the key metrics and performance indices to measure and track the effectives of the testing phases.
You will be expected to collaborate with other teams to define testing strategies covering the functional, integration and reporting functionalities. Additionally, you will also be responsible to defining the load and performance testing requirements for the program.
This role will entail conversations and discussions across the organization and hence the expectation of great communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and deliver.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
MBA in IS or B.Tech./MTech. /MCA in Computer Science with relevant years of experience in packaged software application testing.
Extensive experience as a tester (manual/automated) with at least 5 years of experience in managing testing for large global, multi-country implementations.
Participated and led all phases of testing life cycle for a large project in a matrix organizational set up with multiple vendor partners at a global level.
Extensive experience in stakeholder management at CXO levels and across levels within the organization (business domain partners and technical staff alike).
Should be able to articulate, effectively communicate, collaborate and influence stakeholders across the program.
Strong problem-solving skills, being able to lead and mentor efforts.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in being the Test Lead for a SaaS based ERP platform (Fusion/Workday/SuccessFactors)
Organizationally savvy, with a good understanding of the enterprises political climate and how to navigate, influence and persuade political waters.
Ability to collaborate across the organization and deal with a multi-vendor scenario with minimal supervision and support.
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of newer platforms.
