The Team

Adobe's Creative Cloud Assets & Collaboration services team is hard at work in building state of art cloud-based experiences for this vision. Assets & Collaboration brings Creative Cloud to life by empowering millions of creatives to be more productive together - We focus on increasing the creative capacity of planet Earth! Our services and connected experiences are embedded in all the creative applications from Photoshop to Adobe XD, and on all platforms - web, mobile, and desktop. Our code runs on 20 million+ desktops around the world.
What you will do

• Be an inspiring leader who will build and shape the platform of Creative Cloud Assets and Collaboration services.
• Architect high performance services which are adaptable to multifaceted business needs.
• Closely collaborate with senior architects across the company and geographies on deep technical issues and influence the architecture direction.
• Identify and invest in long term technical bets which accelerates future product expansion.
• Influence decisions & recommendations that impact Adobe's major objectives and goals and may have long-term fiscal effects on the company.
• Lead the discussions on emerging industry technologies & trends. Work with the team & leadership to influence product direction.
• Drive and champion innovation. Create technical specifications, prototypes and presentations to communicate your ideas and influence the strategic direction.
• Design, architect and code on key features collaborate with the product management, design and core engineering teams influence to work on the most optimized and delightful user experiences.
• End to end ownership (idea inception, productization, service deployment and operations) for key business critical features.
• Has experience of working in unified engineering teams, where individuals are responsible for End-to-end ownership.
• Mentor and guide high performing engineering team

What you need to be successful

• B Tech., MTech. / MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Total 15+ years of experience and 7+ years in architecting commercial grade server-side software product or service development.
• 5+ years of proven experience in designing, building and supporting a real-time low latency distributed SaaS platform.
• Ability to make decisions, own it, and adjust as needed later.
• Strong leadership skills, but prefer to focus on deep technical ability.
• Expertise in architecting, designing and building scalable and performant web applications and micro-services.
• Ambitious and not afraid to tackle unknowns, demonstrates a strong bias to action.
• Expertise in frontend and backend technologies -
• Front end JavaScript frameworks - React, Typescript, CSS frameworks (ex. Bootstrap)
• Reusable API development using Java, Node.js, Python, C++
• Deep expertise in NodeJS is a plus
• Working with REST-based APIs, Webhooks, etc.
• Cloud services (ex. AWS, Azure)
• Web servers (Node.js, Apache, Nginx, IIS, etc.)
• Database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB)
• Knowledge of non-relational databases Cassandra, Graph Databases, SOLR, Kafka a plus.
• Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, encourage, and empower others.
• Exceptional coding skills, including excellent understanding of optimization, performance ramifications of coding decisions, and object-oriented design.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
