- You Role and Responsibilities:
- As a DB2 admin you will be involved in SME level infrastructure and product support for DB2 Databases across various accounts.

Required Skills:
1. DB2 LUW (for Linux/Unix/Windows) DBA
2. Installation, Configuration, Upgrade, and Migration
3. Configuring/ troubleshooting DB2 HADR cluster with TSA
4. Installing latest service packs and patches on DB2
5. Configure and troubleshooting of TLS 1.2 with DB2 servers.
6. Database backups and restores.
7. Database Security
8. Storage and Capacity Planning
9. Perform and monitor daily database operations and scheduling cronjobs to run database backups.
10. Troubleshooting of DB2 related issues
11. Working on automation of dba activities.
12. Configure/ troubleshooting of DB2 connect
13. Work with multiple technologies and in projects with high complexity.
14. Configured and maintained high availability options like
15. Involved actively in production deployment during releases.
16. Handling major incidents and performing root cause analysis
17. Database performance Tuning
18. Actively participating in standby support during non-business hours.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud development platforms AWS, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, Azure or vSphere
- Experience working in a true Agile & Scrum environment
- You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing, publications
- Youll have access to all the technical and management training courses to become the expert you want to be
