Job Description

• Dealing with single mode fiber (12F,24F,48F,96F). Finding fiber cut's by using OTDR and restoring it by splicing. Use of OTDR (1310nm, 1550nm), use of patch cord's for fiber connectivity to make the port up. Dealing with ECI MUX, DWDM, ADwA, CISCO SWITCH and olp etc.
• Working on STM 1,STM 4,STM 16,STM 64 ,DWDM.
• Carry out Stand Alone and Line up Testing of Fiber Optics Path With the Use of Test Equipment O.T.D.R, Power Meter, Source Meter, Optical Loss Test, Set and Visual Fault Locator Etc.
• Splicing of the Fiber Optics Cable by Using Fusions Splicing as the Requirements.
• Termination of the Fiber Optic Cable in the Patch Panel of the Both Single Mode & Multi mode.
• Send Updating Report of the Fiber Detailed to head Office and Works Department.
• Technical and Professional Test Equipment Utilizations in Fiber Optics Cable and Transmission System Testing & Maintenance.
• After Taken OTDR Traces Start Activity of Link Budget Testing in OFC Link. Testing Done With Help of Lasser Source & Power Meter on wave Length 1310/1550.Link Loss Calculation from A Type FMS to B Type FMS.
• Losses Fiber Rectification Work by Project Team.
• Fiber cut Restored Within MTTR (4Hohurs) & Equipment Link up, Fiber Patching Data & Live Fiber.
• Knowledge in Moiling, Trenching, Hdd Work, Dit work.

Educational Qualifications:

BE/ Diploma

Fresher / 0 8 years of experience.
