Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We're Opening for Application security engineering services
Roles & Responsibilities :-
1. Reduce security risk identified through vulnerability discovery activities by orchestrating vulnerability remediation process
2. Understand Ubers cloud security architecture (including AWS, GCP, and Azure)
3. Understand secure SDL tools and process for prod-sec vulnerabilities
4. Report and present vulnerability findings to a technical audience
5. Triage and assign security vulnerabilities to the appropriate team(s) for remediation
6. Follow up and assist remediation teams to ensure the open issue is closed within established SLA
7. Perform ticket escalations to appropriate parties when open vulnerabilities are not fixed within SLA and ensure an appropriate remediation plan is documented and in place
8. Facilitate and manage exception process for security vulnerabilities
9. Conduct remediation validation upon Engineering teams closure of vulnerability/issue
10. Work with respective team to improve the quality for the issues raised (Adding RCA, providing detailed steps for remediation, etc.)
11. Validate security fixes or work with the respective teams to validate the fixes.
