Inviting applications for the role of Data Quality Steward
In this role, you would be part of the data integrity/analysis team in the Banking domain. You will be responsible to work with the various system to check the ETL process, Data Reconciliation, and identify the gaps of Data loss. For these tasks, you would be encouraged to build an automated validation framework via IDQ to validate the various rule-based scenarios of data processing. You will also need to understand the business ask/problem, assess the scope, quantity and quality of the available data, prepare and build accurate reports including the pull of the data and the creation of analytics on top of the data.
Responsibilities
Interact with client to understand requirements and provide adequate support
Fetch data from various sources- mainframes/data warehouse, analyze and reconcile, produce reports as per client requirements
Assist in raising JIRA tickets and solving issues faced by end-users
Monitor of transfer of tables from source A to B & publishing status dashboards
Finding and Preventing loss of data while in transit
Publish the results of reconciliation to Microstrategy dashboard
Trigger & Monitoring of incidents via JIRA
Ensure integrity of data and customer delight by giving appropriate levels of access to requested tools/channels by following business rules
Data mapping and business rule and profiling experience
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
Experience on Datawarehouse and Data Lake environment
Knowledge of Data Modelling concept, dimensional model
Expertise in HQL and writing complex DB SQL Queries
Knowledge of the Hadoop environment
Understanding of SAS codes over SAS Enterprise Guide
Good interpersonal, problem solving, and verbal communication skills
Understanding of SAS codes and hands-on over-reporting via SAS Enterprise Guide
Understanding of Impala codes, work over Hive and Unix on Data Lake environment
Experience over Agile methodology for day-to-day quality operations & controls
Basic understanding of banking domains like Customers, Accounts, Relationships between customer and account, account classification for CRA
Understanding of Financial Crimes Compliance
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge/exp. of Banking and Capital Markets is an added advantage for this position
