Python Django Developer
Job Description:
Experience: 5 7 years
Responsibilities:
Mandatory
- Develop new user facing features / code and maintain existing Django framework based applications
- Use server-side logic to integrate user-facing elements.
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
- Build scalable architecture to support millions of users
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Unit-test of code with validations. Sanity test for code fixes.
- Good database skills in a relational as well as NOSQL database (i.e. MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDb etc.)
- Good knowledge on developing and integration with RESTful APIs.
- Good knowledge of version control (i.e. Git, SVN, etc.).
- Good knowledge of API testing tool (i.e. Postman or Swagger).
- Experience in deploying Python applications into production.
- Experience in Firebase integration and deployment into production.
- Identify and suggest various opportunities to improve efficiency, functionality and speed of APIs.
- Coordinating with technical manager, team members and database administrator.
- Good knowledge of encryption technologies, compression & security standards and privacy policy.
Good to Have
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling
- Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
- Must be a self learner with ability to pickup new skills quickly
- Must have the energy and inclination to work in a startup.
- Working knowledge of MySQL is plus
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and work calmly and professionally under pressure
