Job Description
About Us: The organisation is a healthcare technology platform that connects the healthcare community (diagnostics, doctors and hospitals) through automated health information exchange of patient data. Our primary focus is to follow the patient through their healthcare journey and help healthcare providers to make more informed decisions about their patients. While we aim to deploy this platform for the overall healthcare eco-system, our focus will cover clinical decision support in the Oncology space to begin with.
The application is currently a fully responsive Web Application built on Django and Django REST API Framework along with AngularJS. It's a fully functional API hosted on AWS servers. However, we are in the process of revamping the technology stack into a more modern architecture using AWS serverless architecture along with converting to microservices, ReactJS and Python. This transition has been set into motion with the help of AWS mainly to explore implementation of Blockchain, AI based applications like chatbots and data driven suggestions, data analytical tools and other such technologies.
We have an exciting product development roadmap with a primary mandate of modernizing the current tech stack. We are looking for some strong developers that can help us on our journey to scale rapidly
Requirement:
4+ years of experience in microservices (Serverless architecture, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Mongo DB, Cognito, CloudWatch, etc.)
Proficiency with Node.js and at least one other server-side language such as Python
Basic knowledge of database and SQL
Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure
Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems
Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies
Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement any scalable software services
Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions
Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company
Recommend process and architecture improvements
Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platform and application domains
Oversee pre-production acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of a companys services and products
