We are Hiring for Principal Engineer - UI
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create Web application front end as per design comps and information architecture.
- Integrate front-end application with GraphQL.
- Follow best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
- Understand executing accessibility and progressive enhancement presentation.
- Stick to established coding standards and group procedures individually and in teams.
- Add to the engineering teams culture of high code quality
- Engage in the requirement specification process for new feature development.
- Ensure design consistency with development standards and guidelines.
- Design and build UIs on any server platform in a team environment
Desired Candidate Profile
- Good understanding of ReactJS (Redux), Unit testing, understanding of hooks and contexts
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handing, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
