As a QA Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting frameworks for company's test infrastructure and providing automation expertise.
What you will do:
- Researching, recommending and implementing tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
- Mentoring team members on automation
- Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them
- Being meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results
- Ensuring that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality
- Working closely with the software engineering team, Product Management and Technical Operations as well as business users and Senior Management, as required
- Being a creative thinker who can quickly identify and test for functional edge cases outside of expected functionality workflow.
Required Candidate profile
What you need to have:- Expert in the full Quality Assurance life cycle, testing methodologies, and test automation
- Expertise in the website, mobile websites, ANDROID, IOS & API testing
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Knowledge of e-commerce software systems and Internet technology, including nuances of popular platforms, browsers, IOS
- Knowledge of the different working methodologies including different types of AGILE like SCRUM and KanBan
- Knowledge of and experience using a variety of testing tools, including Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Rational Clear Quest, Crystal Reports, Selenium, Stress, and Load testing tools, Performance testing tools, Gomez suite of tools
- Versatile and willingness to work on any technology or platform
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, risk mitigation and leadership skills
- Continuous Performer
- Good Aptitude
