Job Description
Project Engineering Manager
SCOPE OF WORK
A. The candidate shall be responsible for leading the project team of engineers responsible for performing the following activities: Overall Plant Integration Based on Contractors Scope of Supply Verify the overall plant design including thermodynamic design and performance calculations carried out by Supplier. Approval of basic and detailed design of the contractor/s of project perform a detailed review of the suppliers major, relevant design documents, includes the verification of suppliers performance calculations. Data sheets and other relevant technical documentation have to be carefully examined to ensure compliance with the specifications and design parameters, with contractual requirements and specified codes and standards. The design review performed by the candidate will include the following: Review of submittals as specified in the contract, such as drawings, flow diagrams, data sheets, equipment lists. Any deviation from contract documents, standards, licenses and permits will be brought to the Clients attention together with the candidates recommendation. Follow-up the engineering progress in order to ensure that all drawings, schedules, manuals etc. are available in time to avoid any delay in the project.
Review and comment on vendors data sheets, specifications and other vendor's design, and manufacturing.
B. Interface Management The candidate will be responsible to manage the interfaces in such a way, that: each interface point is clearly defined (location, parameters, connections) each party involved in the respective interface point uses one common data base where parameters, applied forces etc. are documented. all data necessary for the appropriate work of one lot at the interface point is provided by the other lots in time. Collision checks will be performed. No schedule interference at any interface points occurs.
Qualification Education:
Minimum Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering Work Experience: Minimum 15 year experience in design, execution, supervising combined cycle or thermal power plant Language: Professional working proficiency in English
