Senior Software Engineering Manager @ Microsoft

• Build and manage a high performing, collaborative, and inclusive team.

• Develop execute on a strategy that focuses on effective and efficient designs, test and resilience processes, integration across dependent software and service components, improve common frameworks, tooling, and reuse where applicable.
• Lead teams that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies and unknowns.
• Keep the team motivated by challenging them to solve problems with customer expereince in mind.
• Ensure we are aligned with controls, procedures, and tooling which support our desire to deliver a world-class set of services in a predictable manner.
• Partner directly with product groups, security assurance, audit, and security assessment teams across DSR and Microsoft.
• Partner with teams across geo to deliver the solutions.

Basic Requirements:

• 10+ Years: Experience working as a software engineer.
• 4+ Years: Experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management.
• 4+ Years: Experience in Technical/Engineering Program Management.
• 4+ Years: Experience with security, software, and service engineering fundamentals including, but not limited to identity and access, enterprise-grade managed code/software, change management, power of telemetry, BCDR at enterprise-scale.
