Job Role and responsibilities
- Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials for all the office locations.
- Evaluate vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
- Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.
- In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
- Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.
- Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
- Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
- Plan and Manage company's overall sourcing strategy.
- Do often research to understand company's operations needs and requirements.
- Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and control costs.
- Should be able to create and drive procurement policy.
- Execute analysis and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy.
- Keep on top of industry and market trends and best practices.
- Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations related to procurement.
- Should have experience in IT and ITeS and understand requirements related to the business.
- Should possess effective negotiating skills.
- Capable of dealing with critically challenging situations and constantly changing work environment.
- Should be able to coordinate with different department and do time bound procurements with best costs.
- Should be a Team Player.
Job requirements and qualifications
- Experience of 2 to 4 years can apply.
- Minimum Graduation required and any additional certification on sourcing or procurement is advantage.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Outspoken and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem solving ability.
