Job Description
Position / Designation : Manager / Senior Manager - Finance and Accounts CA+CS/CA
Department : Finance and Accounts (MRIBS)
CTC : 10-14 Lakhs.
Employment Type : Probationer
Reporting to - : Principal Officer & Chief Operating Officer Designation & Grade
No. of Reportees, Designation & : 2Grade
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Manager/Senior Manager Finance & Accounts will be responsible for overseeing of all Finance, Accounting,
Main Tasks :
Reporting and Compliance activities. He/She will be also responsible for all IRDA reporting & be the Point of Contact for all IRDA inspection.
The candidate will be
- Responsible for presenting quality accounts & ensure timely & accurate Recon of Revenue
- Responsible for Finalization of Accounts, Preparation and Presentation of Financial Statements.
- Responsible for Revenue Reconciliation & follow up on o/s payments due
- Responsible for all investments in line with the Investment policy of the Co.
- Consistently analyzing of financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress, changes and keep senior management abreast of the financial status.
- Responsible for preparation of Budget and monthly reports. Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administering and reviewing all financial plans and comparing to actual results with a view to identifying, explaining, and correcting variances as appropriate.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Trend analysis of Income and Expenses of all products / Business Functions.
- Ensure sanctity of accounts and provisions shown in the financial statements.
- Supervise and monitor collection/receivables and remittance of tax and filing of returns, issue of TDS certificates etc.
- Advice Management regarding Tax planning.
- Closely work with internal/ statutory auditor and ensure smooth auditing of accounts.
- Managing organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the COO/Functional Heads.
- Responsible for Fund Management.
- Ensure that all the product transactions accounted, are properly accounted in the books of the company, and ensure proper reconciliation.
- Supervise and give advice and guidance in the case of un-reconciled items.
- Identify Automate end-to-end workflow / process related to Finance and Accounts.
- Ensure proper maintenance of Asset Register.
- Liaison and interact with Group Company, Functional Line Managers in regard to Finance and Accounts requirement.
- Maintaining internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets and actual expenditures.
- Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with all statutory provisions with regard to IRDA, Income Tax Act and Companies Act etc.
- Ensure timely regulatory Updation/filing within timelines and Maintain appropriate standards/ regulatory requirements.

Personal Specification
Educational Qualification / : Minimum Graduation preferably BCOM + CA (mandatory)Technical Certification
Skill Sets : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations
Communication Skills : Excellent communication Skills - English language fluency - both verbal and written.
Experience : Post Qualification : 3-5 Years' experience in Finalization of Accounts, Revenue Reconciliation, Internal/statutory Auditing etc.
Behavioral Competencies :Integrity, Credibility, Commitment, Analytical Skills, Problem-solving skills
Other Requirements (If any) : Good knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) .Exposure to IRDA Broking Regulations 2018 will help.
