Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of RTR General Accounting Architect English

Responsibilities
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Interactions:
Collaborates inside the company with members of the same team or other teams in order to accomplish the alocated tasks;
Collaborates outside the company with client representatives, within the authority limits allocated by the direct manager.
Activities:
Coordinating the accounting tasks for one or more specific region/s and/or a one/more functional accounting process such as: Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Month End Close activities, Reporting activities, Asset Accounting (capitalization, depreciation, amortization), Inventory Accounting, Intercompany, FX & Treasury Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Monthly tax calculation submission, audit support.

Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the completeness and correctness of balance sheets accounts (banks, fixed assets, client accounts, supplier accounts, tax accounts, etc.), journal entries initiated by GL accountants from the team
Closings and reconciliations for the managed accounts as per agreed deadlines
Analyzing and following the accounting journals, requesting reclassifications and corrections to GL accountants
Support GL accountants in requesting information from Client/ Genpact other streams (supporting documentation for JEs, additional information, escalations, etc)
Provide support to Team Leader and Operations Manager when needed, as per request
Coordinating the accounts reconciliation for the group companies according to procedures, when required
Preparing the VAT declarations and the accounting journals when required
Offering the necessary reports and information for the internal and external controls
Preparing monthly performance reports according to the established contract indicators and any other additional requested reports to be reviewed by the client
Communicating in a timely manner any relevant information related to the process
Respecting the activity schedule established with the customer
Apply country specific knowledge of taxation (VAT and CIT) & accounting rules applicable from country-to-country if applicable

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Updating the working procedures periodically
Training other team members regarding the daily tasks whenever necessary and requested by the manager
Maintain and develop relationships with relevant markets and client serviced by team and all major customers within those markets as appropriate
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovative solutions and communicate to direct manager
Support the implementation of systems/applications applicable to in scope activities
Building relationship with peers from operations and with operating leaders to facilitate goals and objectives


Achieving critical metrics / SLAs contractually cooperated with the customer as hygiene, continuously improving on performance benchmarks
Analyzing data and trends, implementing projects for continuous improvement based on Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Owning implementation and delivery of Operational Excellence Framework including Visual Management System
Utilize capacity management tools to rightly schedule resources to meet demand for operations
Ensure the teams have all operational resources, for example but not limited to IT, Facility, Training, etc.
Lead the creation, update and maintenance of Standard Operation Procedures and Knowledge Management tool
Build reporting both for client and Genpact management for Operations review
Identify recurrent problems/issues in Operations and resolve
Showcase and practice excellent client handling skills to ensure successful NPS scores and customer happiness
Customer concern tracking and resolution for client issues
People management Ensuring Retention metrics are met and employee satisfaction scores are delivered via practicing people leadership skills and implementing HR standard methodologies and initiatives

Qualifications
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in a multinational company as Financial Reporting Analyst
Relevant domain experience
Country specific knowledge of taxation (VAT and Corporate Income Tax) & accounting rules applicable to in scope countries
Work experience with SAP or Navision ERPs (represents an advantage)
Very good knowledge of English, min. C1
Good MS Office (especially MS Excel) knowledge
Analytical thinking and ability to learn fast
Relevant work experience in O2C, AR, Billing Processes
Relevant experience in coordinating teams
Previous exposure to transformation and productivity initiatives

REQUIERED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
University graduate (Economic profile is an advantage)

Personal culture and ability to deal with the client properly
High motivation and willingness to learn
Ability to work under time pressure
