About the Business UnitAdobe's Digital Media BU focuses on advancing state of the art content and driving digital transformation of industries. It provides tools and services that enable individuals, small businesses, and enterprises to create, publish, promote, manage and monetize their content anywhere through Creative Cloud. Adobe's creative solutions are used by designers, photographers, content publishers, artists and storytellers, UX designers, knowledge workers, consumers and more. Through our connected apps and services, customers have all the tools and assets they need to create and manage content across desktop and mobile devices.
As a Computer Scientist at Adobe, you will be a key member of our Digital Imaging Group as we develop a new set of Photoshop Applications for mobile and tablet devices on iOS, Android and Windows platforms. The responsibility will include taking the product/components through entire life cycle from requirement analysis to delivery, adding multi-platform support, meeting the reliability and performance targets required.Requirements:
- Should be a B Tech/M Tech Computer Science from an outstanding institute.
- Should have a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
- Must have 8+ years of software design and development experience, preferably in a product development environment.
- Must have excellent working knowledge of Java or C++ and OO design/design patterns.
- Education or experience in Computer Graphics and Computer Vision
- Self-starter and goal-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work in coordination with within a strong diverse technical community to expedite development tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good to have 1+ year experience in mobile application software development for iPhone and/or Android.
- Working knowledge in any of Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, Xcode, iOS SDK 3.0/4.2/5.0, JAVA, Android OS will be strong plus.
- Experience with design, development, coding, and testing of mobile applications on the iPhone and Android platform.
- Ability to write scalable and maintainable code.
