Development Project Manager / Technical @ Launch IT

Desired Candidate Profile

Responsibilities

Managing the software development team and processes
Run an Agile software development process
Provide hands-on and oversight of Python, Node.js and Angular software development processes, this includes the following project staff: software Team Lead and other software developers.
Track key deliverables to ensure timely execution
Identify and evaluate emerging use-cases, user stories and feature requests
Experience working with web-based project management applications, including online video technologies
Mentor software development teams in Agile approaches and best practices for requirements definition, time estimation, coding, testing, version control and documentation
Monitor compliance and implement performance metrics
Manage the product backlog and feature requests, both from within Jira and from clients
Defining scope of work and managing external resources, including workflows
Ensure Continuous client satisfaction with the product
Ensure successful and timely client demos
Report as required on project performance both internally and to clients, including producing regular monthly internal status reports, and quarterly progress reports for the client
Strategizing financial management of software projects.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a relevant field
13+ years of experience in software management or other similar experience
4+ years as project manager
8+ years as software developer
Strong development experience in Python Node.js and Angular
Experience with Jira
PMP and Scrum Master Certification / Trained
Familiarity with cloud-based delivery models
Strong knowledge of project management, particularly Agile software development methodologies
Solid understanding of the rapidly changing tools and methodologies
Understanding of running production systems on a global level
Expertise in software code testing and deployment.
Cross-cultural working experience
Key Skills

PMP, Scrum Master, Agile Methodology, Jira, Node.js, Python
Mandate:
Front End: Angular, Firebase, Js, HTML, CSS
Back End: Node Js, Python, Kubernetes, Docker.

Education:

PG:  Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization

Doctorate:  Doctorate Not Required
