Job Title: Lead, IT Business Analyst
Work Location: Hyderabad
General Summary:
The Business Analyst, Lead will apply their knowledge and skills to develop actionable Business Analytics solutions for the Office of the CIO (OCIO) team across the IT Strategy and Planning, IT Demand and Resource Management, IT Project Management Office(PMO), and IT Organizational Change Management functions. These solutions will provide historical, current, and future state data for OCIO initiatives in support of both IT and business decision-making. As a subject matter expert, ensure advanced solutions are scalable and reliable with a high level of accuracy for stakeholders and decision-makers. Key areas of focus will be:

• determining the logical design and information management strategies necessary to store, move and manage data in a new target state or an alternative version of an existing state.
• developing data models, ETL, and Analytics solutions including Business Objects universes, Dashboards, Mobile analytics, Statistical analytics, and Data mining solutions.
• identifying data sources and automating the consolidation and calculation of IT metrics
• working with the OCIO leaders to develop solutions to meet their specific reporting and analytics needs.
• prioritization and tracking of deliverables to support OCIO initiatives
• maintaining the IT OCIO intranet site to effectively communicate reporting and analytics across the OCIO functions
• mentoring other OCIO business analysts in the development of reporting and analytic solutions

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze OCIO processes to identify data sources and data gaps
• Proactively work with business users and source system analysts to understand and gain expertise in CommScope business processes, data sources, and data relationships.
• Determine the logical design and information management strategies necessary to store, move and manage data in a new target state or an alternative version of an existing state.
• Develop data models, ETL, and Analytics solutions including Business Objects universes, Dashboards, Mobile analytics, Statistical analytics, and Data mining solutions.
• Create solutions to provide on-demand visibility with drill-down capability for specific OCIO functions. Examples include a master IT PMO portfolio schedule, demand management reporting and dashboards, OCM reporting and dashboards, monthly OCIO reporting.
• Design and maintain reporting and analytics for the IT OCIO intranet site, ensuring data is updated on a regular basis
• Identify training and communication requirements and participate in delivery to business clients through appropriate mediums
• Support OCIO initiatives as needed, assuring deliverables are submitted and meet defined requirements by agreed-to timelines.
• Lead and mentor other OCIO business analysts in the development of reporting and analytic solutions.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Statistical analysis
• Eight (8) years of experience in Statistical analysis, Data modeling, Data integration, and Business Intelligence solutions
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to design complex systems and translate user requirements into business solutions
• Experience in interviewing business users, collecting and interpreting requirements, presenting the solution details to business audiences, and facilitating business meetings.
• Proven understanding of data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive analysis concepts
• Proficiency in data identification, preparation, data mining, integrating data from different sources structured and unstructured, and write machine learning and deep learning algorithms
• Proficiency in developing solutions using statistical and other tools/languages like R, Python, Java, Hadoop, IoT, Visual Inspection deep learning algorithms, Azure IOT&ML, Power BI
• Experience in Microsoft Office, SharePoint configuration
• Hands-on experience developing statistical and predictive models
• Ability to analyze simulation results, develop technical reports and presentations, and guide business and technical leaders on suitable data analysis strategy
• Should be passionate about data science and technology, and stay abreast with industry trends and technology roadmap in the areas of Machine Learning, Big Data, and Data Science
• Process-oriented, continuous process improvement driven, with strong project management skills
• Experience in developing strong partnerships with internal business and IT groups
• Experience in leading and mentoring team members
