Job Description
Intermediate Representative, Billing:
The Int. Rep position is a position in Asset Management teams where the job involves reviewing and performing tasks like Setting up of new accounts for subsidiaries, update custodian values, post payments on Redi 2. Stay abreast of changes in the current process procedures Responsible for updating and maintaining procedure manuals.
- Produces more complicated client invoices.
- Analyzes and interprets fee schedule data, identifying key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.
- Sets up accounts, linking client accounts to appropriate fee schedules, and configures them in the system.
- Retrieve & Input custodian market values into REDI2 after careful review
- Daily monitoring of bank statement to track incoming cash & credit respective clients accounts.
- Reviewing exceptions & performing quality check of invoices
- Provides solutions to problems in atypical or infrequently occurring situations based on practice and existing precedents or procedures.
- No direct reports; provides guidance to less experienced Billing Administrators, as needed.
- Responsible for the quality and completion of own work.
This role required the knowledge of the Mutual fund industry, accounting principles and sound knowledge on understanding the IMA (Investment Management Agreement) preferred.
The ability to handle stressful situations with internal clients and onshore business partners, while maintaining a professional approach to problem solving
The candidate is expected to analyze the exceptions as reported and suggest appropriate remedial actions.
Requirements:
Graduation.
MBA preferred.
2-3 years of total work experience preferred.
Experience in financial services preferred.
