Position Title: Senior Oil Trader
Job Location: Hyderabad
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in business, finance, marketing or related field of study.
Experience: Mid-Career 10 Years or more Years
Roles and Responsibilities:
It is a downstream energy company with interests in refining, trading & finance. TC trades in crude & finished products in the international markets.
The trading position should be viewed as a growth opportunity for a highly motivated individual as this role provides an opportunity to understand supply & trade in complex situations, negotiate purchase & sale. Interact with Traders, Schedulers, Feed Stock Co-ordinators, Accounts, Engineers Analysts, Logistical & financial activities, Contracts. Generate data to support performance in acquisition cost, inventory & risk management
Scope of Work
Trader will report to Exe Vice President of Operations and will be responsible
for optimizing the company's positions surrounding generation of assets
Manage a portfolo of Traders from European, Middle East & Asia
Trade in crude & clear products, Purchases, Sales, Buy-sells & exchanges for finished products
Build strong relationships with counter parts from varied backgrounds & cultures.
Negotiate trades with various industry participants including oil majors, Energy companies of all s, transport companies, state-owned companies and trading houses.
Administer Crude Oil Purchases / Sale contracts, maximise eco margins
Select & replenish the internal team as necessary
Interact with senior management on policy guidelines relating to risk etc.
Houston will have overall responsible for America, Europe, Middle East & Asia.
This is a high integrity position necessitating work under extreme pressures to
achieve targets within stringent time frames
Generate minimum business of above FIVE Billion Dollars per annum
Traders are responsible for representing TC in the financial markets, initiate
and maintain positions based on current economic, political & financial
conditions.
This position is for a Senior Trader for the Trading Team to be based in
Houston. This role reports to the single point of responsibility.
