Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - DataStage Lead
This role lies with Genpact Corporate IT -Compute Management Division. You will be responsible for supporting corporate Compute operations 24X7 for internal IT. You will be working actively on the operational issues along with internal / external partners to recover the systems failure (proactive/reactive). You will have tremendous opportunities learn in one of the biggest Compute group in the industry.
Responsibilities
Understand business requirements, design business solution, and convert to technical requirements and design.
Plan, design, lead, and execute the projects.
Lead team of BI developers to deliver the projects.
Participate and architect the ETL design and lead the overall ETL solution (DataStage).
Understands and has good work experience in BI and in Datawarehouse technologies like DB2, DataStage, Dash DB, SQL, ETL, Power BI, Cognos Reporting
Documentation & finding out the nature of problem & be a problem solver at heart.
End to End ETL Development, transforming and loading data warehouse and mart tables
Deployment, documentation of ETL and Reports
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Candidates from all the branches of B.E/B/Tech are eligible.
Minimum 65 percent or 6.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) on a scale of 10 is mandatory for students to participate in our hiring process
All other foreign nationals require work visa or an Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) or Person of India Origin (PIO) card to work in India
Students who have worked with us before (if any) must disclose the details to the company HR.
Relevant years of ETL experience (client facing) related to data warehouse/Analytics / DataStage, other any ETL tool.
Expertise on Infosphere Data Stage version 11.0 and above, Quality Stage, Data Architect, Business Glossary and DB2.
Basic knowledge on UNIX commands & Cloud
Expertise with implementing ETL solutions in IBM DataStage. Certification would be preferred.
Experience in implementing database solutions on MS SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 required.
Strong experience on Design, Development, Unit Testing of the DataStage code.
Strong knowledge on the Performance tuning of the DS Jobs.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in implementing database solutions on MS SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 required.
Microsoft/IBM Cloud experience
