Hadoop Admin @ MNR Solutions

Job Description

Maintaining Hadoop cluster health status.

Monitoring cluster and ensuring good health of HDFS file systems.

Managing Hbase/Hive/Postgres etc & Databases of Cloudera Executing Cloudera critical bux fix on needed basis.

Day to Day Health check of Cloudera nodes and Cloudera Service (HDFS, Hbase, Yarn, Hive, Oozie etc)

Work closely with Application/BI/Networking team Fine tuning the cloudera and configuration management

Troubleshoot HDFS/Habse/Yarn/Hive or any other Cloudera modules related issues.

Manage oozie jobs and fix any failed/Killed jobs.

Managing Yarn resources and informing customer in case of continuous over utilization of CPU/RAM resources.

Tuning & Rescheduling jobs with Root Cause Analysis.

Data retention management and keeping HDFS disk size under control.

User Creation or User maintenance of Cloudera through Hue Backup and recovery task Resources and security management.

Operating System resource management and resource handling.

Alert configurations in Cloudera
