We have an opening for a Sr.Executive - Finance & Accounts in Birla Open Minds located at Churchgate, Mumbai

Position: Sr. Executive - Finance & Accounts

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Responsibilities:

  1. Making error free MIS reports for entities and presenting to management on regular basis
  2. Maintaining cash flow in the entities allocated and suggest cost control measures
  3. Process salaries after receiving from HR and transferring it to employees accounts
  4. Deduction and monthly payment and filing of TDS, PF, PT, Service Tax, etc.
  5. Daily liaisoning with Banks for preparing & updating daily bank balances, arranging funds by transferring the funds / co-ordinating with superiors for arrangement of required funds
  6. Co-ordination with bankers, vendors, other departments for timely execution of tasks
  7. Conducting statutory audits - IT & GST Audits
  8. Preparation of cheque and accounting in Tally Accepting bills/purchase orders from various depts. and entering in Tally after verification
  9. Verification & accounting of invoices, bills, monthly debit notes, etc
  10. Passing entries in Tally

  Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • Tally knowledge
  • Must possess knowledge of various taxes applicable
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Computer Literate
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibits self-motivation, high work standards and attention to detail
  • Candidates with Education industry experience would be preferred
