Inviting applications for the role of Fixed Asset Expert
Responsibilities
Fixed asset sub ledger processing
Administration of the fixed asset sub ledger
Approve and post fixed assets additions, disposal, and all other asset maintenance items to the fixed asset sub ledger.
Monitor and reconcile fixed asset mass additions account and resolve open issues.
Monitor and maintain fixed asset &template requests in line with SLA.
Run depreciation job and ensure posting is complete.
Project maintenance and processing of all capitalisation requests.
Document observations in the query tracker and issues in the issue log.
Manage customer issues and ensure active communication and liaison with clients for clarification and resolution of open items.
Perform preparation work in advance of close cycle to set up templates and roll forward workings etc. (As defined in the individual SOPs or agreed process improvement with sub process owners to eliminate time pressures during close)
Fixed asset closing and reporting
Conduct pre close review meetings with stake holders
Prepare, review, approve and complete system posting for all Fixed assets transactions
Prepare fixed asset reconciliations, review and approve
Develop and maintain process documents and supporting documents
Prepare fixed asset reporting packs
Identify and implement process improvements as agreed between the parties
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Candidate should be an expert in Oracle Fixed asset module and Fixed asset accounting.
Sound accounting knowledge with operations management. Should have
Managed the Fixed asset team in the past with extensive team and client window.
Excellent client handling skills.
Candidate should have proven experience in process improvements and other efficiency projects
Preferred qualifications
MBA finance or certified accountants would be an added advantage.
