Responsibilities
Surveillance audit programs, critical supplier list maintenance and audit program sustainability
RCA/CI activity for top issues
Close audit findings
Supplier KPI performance monitoring and follow up (PPM/CAR s/RCA) sense of urgency
NCR management (follow up and closure) with supplier & reporting to Customer Teams
Recovery of COF (non transactional or material replacement)
CIR closure & COF (Tough Cases) monitoring and recovery process partnership with sourcing team
Monthly Supplier performance monitoring & verify supplier quality documents
Develop worst 10 supplier
FPQ Management
PLQ Management
SDR Approvals - Work with Engineering team
On time part/product qualification (MPP/PQP/QCP/Etc.) in customer portal
NCR Management - Conduct RCA & Mitigation plan
Parts Rejection - If noncompliant with specifications
Supplier Audits, Process Audits - Verify supplier capability if necessary raise concern
Support on business critical issues
Provide technical guidance/support to L1 &L2 team if required
Provide Training on special processes & Audit requirements
In this role, the candidate may have to at times work during global hours in order to connect with other teams working in different time zones. There may also be possibilities for any business travels locally or outside the country.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
University graduate in engineering
Relevant work experience in the area
Fluent English language
Good to have working knowledge on any other foreign language
Preferable to have practical knowledge of any Oracle or SAP module
Experience in metallurgical and/or manufacturing processes
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering / Advanced Technical Degree.
Experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Quality or Engineering Welding area
Related Power Generation manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated proactive approach and issue ownership with process orientation.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional and global team environments.
Highly self-motivated.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong background in interpretation of Engineering drawings/specifications, metrology, and manufacturing process planning/evaluation. Must understand GD&T and be able to lead technical design and manufacturing reviews with suppliers.
Welding Engineer qualification IWE,IWT or IWS
NDT valid qualification for VT,PT,MT,UT,RT
Capabilities: IWE, experience with large fabrications and rigorous (preferably nuclear) traceability and documentation requirements
Preferred skills:
Should have a minimum experience of quality experience especially in the Power or similar industries
Should possess a strong personality and have an analytical bent of mind
Preferable to have a fair knowledge of industrial commodities
Should possess good interpersonal skills and must be a team player
Basic understanding of Sourcing & Procurement processes in the manufacturing industry.
Should have basic experience in MS-Office applications like Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook etc.
