Roles & Responsibilities :-

Required Technical Skill Set

Primary:
EMC UNITY, NETAPP C Mode , HP3PAR , CLOUDIAN

Secondary:

EMC Data Domain and IBM TSM (Spectrum protect), Backup Exec, Rubrik

• Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
• Must-Have Knowledge EMC UNITY, HP3PAR, NETAPP oncommand or ONTAP, CLOUDIAN Object Storage 
• Good-to-Have IBM TSM, EMC Data Domain Backup Exec, Rubrik, Scripting (Python & Ansible) 

SN Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

1 Excellent knowledge HP3PAR, EMC UNITY, NETAPP C mode, BROCADE & CISCO SAN.
2 Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge on Storage & Backup infrastructure to administrating/architecting solutions
3 Analyze performance issues and troubleshoot different Storage & Backup appliances
4 Knowledge on S3 storage Backups (CLOUDIAN Object Storage)
5 Knowledge on NETAPP oncommand or ONTAP, EMC Data Domain, IBM TSM, Backup Exec, Rubrik, automations
6 Storage Provisioning/De-Provisioning as per user requirements.
7 Administering NAS platform and backup environment
8 New Implementation of Storage arrays and storage migrations
9 Installation and configuration of Backup servers and Clients
10 Analyze existing Storage environment and provide expert advice for optimizations
11 Understanding functionalities of key Backup components/processes
12 Deduplication/ Encryption / Replication / Reclamation / Migration / Snapshot / Retentions
13 Diagnose Storage & backup issues and follow up with root cause analysis.
