Job Description
Designation: PPC Manager - Production Planning & ControlIndustry: Valve Manufacturing Company
Job Location: Naroda GIDC, Ahmedabad
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, Industrial, Automobile)
- Experience working in the same profile for minimum 7 years
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Practices, 6 Sigma, Production and Operations Methodologies.
- Meeting Production Targets, achieve productivity and Capacity Utilization, Reduce internal rejection and Assembly shop complaint reduction
Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years in similar industry and Profile.
- Preferred from Instrumentation, Valves, Pumps, Compressors or similar MNCs.
Annual Salary: Max Up to 5 Lakh Per Annum
Nature Of Job:
- Meeting Production Targets,
- Achieve productivity and Capacity Utilization,
- Reduce rejection & complaints due to production
Job Profile:
- Use Lean Manufacturing Tools & Techniques and Six Sigma Methodologies implementation for making processes efficient.
- Customer OTD target of the organization is min. 95%. Make strategies for achievement of OTD.
- Work on reducing Internal and External Quality Issues and overall product and process quality enhancement. Focusing on Customer satisfaction.
- Lead ISO-9001, ISO-14001 and OHSAS 18001 activities related to Production Workshops
- Handling various product and process certifications including welder qualification and IBR.
- Coordinate with Sales & Marketing team for driving business plans and meeting customer demands.
- Lead and face National and International level customer audits
- Prepare Master Production Plan Scheduling the production cycle for all machines available inhouse (Includes Lathes, Drilling Machines, Milling Machines, Bandsaws, CNCs, VMC, VTL, Boring etc)
- Plan detail work of materials with procurement team according to Production Plan
- Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Update the Production plan according to requirements or any changes
- Co-ordinator with sales for future forecast of long lead material and any lead in the market
- Work with Engineering team for uniform loading to Production as customer requirement.
- Participate in Shop floor meetings, project review meetings
- Evaluate production control activities to ensure that final product meets customer specifications.
Other Skills:
- Good communication skills Fluent In English
- Good leader, initiator, and confidant personality.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in MRP (Manufacturing resource planning)
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Good at math and statistics
