We are currently seeking a Networking Advisor to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
Job Function:
Plans, designs, implements and maintains networked systems, including configurations, supporting / troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, bridges, concentrators and switches. Conducts feasibility studies on strategic and tactical plans, design of digital / analog networks, and evaluation of network services / technology for current and future network development. Performs complex technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, systems integration for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN / WAN communications, network nodes, switches and various transmission systems.
Job Grade Description:

• Independently analyzes and provides innovative solutions to network engineering and design projects.
• May serve as technical liaison with vendors.
• Applies advanced understanding of WAN/LAN internet - working design elements including cost versus performance tradeoffs, protocol interoperability, network architecture development and requirements for testing/proof of concept.
• Mentors and instructs lower level engineers on technical expertise needed in collecting and assembling data, preparing reports, monitoring progress and analyzing data.
• Recommends improvements and assists in the development of technical standards.

Required Skills:

• Exceptional knowledge of network performance, network administration and troubleshooting techniques.
• Exceptional knowledge of network related hardware and software (including routers, switches, TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.).
• Exceptional understanding of security issues and implications to network solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL Framework.

Education Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Typically requires 8-10 years relevant experience.
