Job Description: Accountant

You will be assisting with preparing of financial records, which include computing taxes, filing tax returns, organizing & maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy of all statements, managing all financial transactions; from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
An accountant will primarily be responsible for auditing financial documents, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. Provide us with exact quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we legally comply with all tax guidelines.
What will be your Key Responsibility Areas?
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
What are we looking for in you?
- Prior work experience as an Accountant with knowledge of Bookkeeping, Tally
- Awareness of GST and other taxation requirements
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills including V-Lookup and pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Candidate is required to work from office
