VP - Software Engineering requirement in Pune @ Mumbai Rozgaar

Job Description

We have an urgent opening with one of our clients for the position of VP, the details of which are as mentioned below.

Position: VP - Software Engineering (Role - Programming Head)

Location: Pune

Experience: 12+ years

Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering

Days of Working / Shift: 5 days working/ US shift

Skills Required:

1. Min 5 years of technology delivery experience in backend and frontend development
2. Hands on experience in at least one server-side object-oriented programming language
3. Hands on experience writing modern single page web applications
4. Experience with design and system architecture for web applications
5. Experience using source code control systems and branching strategies including with hands on experience branching, merging, and releasing
6. Experience with a major relational database system and ideally one NoSQL database
7. Understanding of distributed messaging systems
8. Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, architectural styles, and API designs

Must-have skills:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 12 years of programming experience
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial position, with demonstrated leadership skills
• In depth knowledge of programming on one or more of the following: C++, Java or other object-oriented programming
• Excellent knowledge of various data structures (especially SQL database), database administration, excellent analytical and problem solving and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to design, plan and implement transformational projects in a professional services organization
• A self-driven performer, can identify issues related to the subject / department / domain and take up solving the challenges
• Software testing and Debugging experience
