Position Description:
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Lead Software Engineer I with strong C# .NET and WPF experience to enhance the development of our Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay products.
The team member will be located in Bangalore and will closely collaborate with the development and verification teams in US, China and Japan.
Primary responsibilities include
- Design and develop quality medical device software products with extensive application of technical principals, theories, and concepts in Software Development
- Create architecture, design, code and unit test modules/components with first-time-right best in class quality to serve in Healthcare Industry!
- Conduct and participate in reviews (design, code, test) and inspections, ensuring application of software engineering standard methodologies, as well as the feasibility, efficacy and compliance to functional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with software V&V team, managers, distributed and multi-functional teams to build products which meets quality, performance, scalability, reliability and schedule goals.
- Investigate software, hardware, and system problems using a variety of techniques and provides innovative solutions.
- Prepare documentations as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies such as FDA and ISO.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in designing and developing C# .NET based solutions with strong foundation of WPF.
- Proven expertise in designing software components using OOA/OOD methodologies.
- Experience in building data presentation layers for large complex data sets, Multithreading design, API and Databases like SQL
- Working experience on Azure DevOps
- Working knowledge of FDA Quality Systems Regulation is desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation, Windows 32 and embedded software development are pluses.
- Willingness to travel (minimal).
- Professional experience with Agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with the functional team
- Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
- Clinical Chemistry /Immunoassay background is a plus
- Ability to drive activities, facilitate discussions and improve processes
- Ability to work with multi-functional and remote teams
- Attention to detail and result oriented
- Ability to work independently
Desired Characteristics
- Passionate about continuous improvement activities for process and product quality improvement initiatives with agile and lean principles.
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency and ownership to resolve issues towards on time completion of projects !
- Passionate about collaboration, quality and excellent teaming skills to work with multi-functional and in a multi-site software teams like Japan, China or the U.S is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills in English for effectively working with co-workers and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 6 8 years of experience in development for commercial products, preferably electro-mechanical instruments.
