Issuing/Responding to the Margin calls on behalf of the client.
Reconciliation of clients portfolio with counter parties and resolve any trade/MTM discrepancies that is impacting the margin call.
Handling settlements of various OTC products such as CDS, IRS, Equity Swaps, Options, etc.
Chasing counterparties for confirming all payments, instructions and settlement date. Identifying cause of discrepancies and resolving them.
Preparing wires for collateral payments, confirmed settlements with approval by management within the stipulated currency cut-off/value date.
Handling daily, weekly, monthly Cash reconciliations for the OTC trades/collateral payments.
Performing monthly interest activities, confirming with counterparties and resolving interest discrepancies.
Understanding CSA terms and Standard Settlement Instructions and updating in the system.
Preparing various Daily Reports (exposure report, upcoming wire report, collateral movement report etc) across different clients.
Interacting with India/UK/US colleagues for margin call break resolution and trade payments discrepancies.
Interacting with clients and counterparties and timely escalation of critical issues to the assistant manager/manager.
Resolution of cash breaks.
Should be able to perform testing of application for any new functionality introduced.
Provide application/process & product knowledge to new hires.
Timely escalation of critical issues.
Any other responsibility from time to time.
