Job Description
This position is for a Software Quality Engineer for the McAfee Consumer team and will be responsible Quality Assurance for the consumer security products.
About the role:
- Hands-on testing on AWS based applications
- Working closely with DevOps to keep the infrastructure for 100% availability
- Design, Develop, Review and Maintain Test Plan and Test Cases.
- Estimate, plan and implement QA schedules.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and interface with appropriate product teams on issue resolution on end to end basis.
- Implementation of automated test framework for functional and BVT test cases.
- Identify regression coverage for any code changes.
- Define performance test plans. Execute performance tests on a consistent basis. Define and report against KPIs ( key performance indicators )
- Validation of security requirements through functional and automated tests.
- Execution of various penetration testing tools.
About You:
- Should have at least 6+ years of experience in testing domain and automation.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in AWS based infrastructure
- Very strong in Black box test techniques & methodologies
- Experience in Python and Appium would be an added advantage
- Good track record of analyzing and debugging issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
